Cute garland, good experience

I got one of their paper garlands, the bird one. It's super cute and really brightens up my living room. Shipping was pretty fast too, like 4 or 5 days to get to me in California. I was happy with it and the whole process was easy peasy.

Love my new tote bag!

I ordered a screen printed tote bag and it's even better in person! The design is so unique and the fabric feels really sturdy. I've already gotten compliments on it when I took it out shopping. I'm definitely going to check out their other stuff soon, maybe some of the wall hangings. Great quality and it arrived pretty quickly after I ordered. So glad I found this place!

Nice cards and fast delivery

I ordered a few birthday cards and some wrapping paper last week. The ordering process on their website was straightforward and I found exactly what I needed without any hassle. The package arrived in about five business days, which was quicker than I expected given it shipped from Glasgow. Everything was well-protected in the packaging, no bends or creases in the cards or paper. The quality of the screen printing is really nice, colors are vibrant and the paper feels thick and durable. I had a quick question about tracking right after I ordered and their customer service got back to me the next day with a clear answer. Overall, a smooth experience from start to finish. I'd definitely buy from them again for future gifts.

Great value on prints

I was looking for some new art for my home and saw their art prints. The prices were really reasonable, especially compared to other places I checked. I got a risograph print and it looks fantastic. I felt like I got a good deal for the quality. Shipping cost was fair and it arrived well-packaged. Definitely worth the purchase if you're looking for unique art on a budget.

How are the paper garlands packaged? Don't want them getting all squished in transit.

F Faith 2 months ago

Mine came in a flat, sturdy envelope. No issues at all.

M Marcus 2 months ago

They're usually packaged flat and carefully, so they don't get bent or creased. I've ordered a few and they always arrived perfectly.

Hey, thinking about grabbing a few garlands for a party. How long does shipping usually take to California?

D Dan 2 months ago

Mine took about 10 days to get to me in LA, maybe a bit more.

S Sophie Patel 2 months ago

Yeah, I'm in NorCal and it was pretty quick for international shipping, probably around 1.5-2 weeks. You might want to check if there are any current delays tho.

I saw some really cute tea towels but I'm trying to be more sustainable. Are their products actually ethically made or is it just greenwashing?

A Andre C. 2 months ago

They work with artisans in India, like, directly. So it seems pretty legit on the ethical side.

E Elena V. 2 months ago

From what I understand, they're really big on supporting the craftspeople they work with. They're based in Glasgow but the stuff is made in India with those partnerships.

How does East End Press compare to Rifle Paper Co. in terms of quality for paper goods?

J June 2 months ago

Rifle Paper Co. is great, but East End Press feels a bit more unique and handmade. Quality is good for both, just different vibes.

S Sam 2 months ago

East End Press has a more artisan, screen-printed feel. Rifle Paper Co. is also good, but more digitally illustrative. I think East End Press garlands are a bit more special.

I'm looking at a couple of risograph prints. What's the difference between risograph and their regular screen prints?

D Dana V. 2 months ago

Risograph has that cool, slightly offset, almost vintage look, kind of like a stencil print but with bright colors. Screen prints are usually more solid and crisp.

T Troy Ito 2 months ago

Risograph prints are a bit more textured and have a unique, almost imperfect charm because of how they're made, a bit like a photocopy but with ink. Screen prints are usually smoother and more precise with the color layers.

Thinking of getting a bunch of Christmas stuff. Will there be any good sales around Black Friday or later in December?

R Renee L. 2 months ago

Oh yeah, they always have a Black Friday sale. Also probably something for Christmas too.

R Rosa 2 months ago

Definitely keep an eye out around Black Friday and Boxing Day. They usually have some decent discounts then, sometimes up to 50% on certain things.

What's the deal with returns? If something isn't quite right, is it a pain to send back?

S Sam 2 months ago

Returns were pretty straightforward for me, just had to pay for shipping.

S Steve Whitfield 2 months ago

I haven't had to return anything personally, but I think you've got a window to send stuff back. Best to check their site for the exact policy, but it seemed reasonable when I looked it up.

Are their paper garlands sturdy enough? I'm worried they'll just fall apart quickly.

A Alex P. 3 months ago

They're actually pretty decent! Not like, kid-proof, but for decorative stuff they hold up well. I've reused mine a couple times.

S Sam 3 months ago

I've got a couple of their garlands and they're surprisingly robust. Just handle them gently when you're hanging them up.
